QuoteReplyTopic: Jessica Simpson Hairdo v/s Glamour Extensions? Posted: January 09 2008 at 6:37pm
I know the hairpiece hair is shinier than my own. Longhairdreams, yours didn't tangle? Ack mine does, alot, I should try fabric softener in it. I don't wear it very often so... thanks for the comment malibu. :)

I bought the Glamour Extensions human hair One Piece clip in and I cannot believe the transformation. The hair is absolutely stellar condition and gorgeous and I feel like a supermodel!!! There are 2 sites though that is kind of confusing and I always forget it is www.glamourextensions.com and not glamour hair. They also have clip in human hair bangs and they look great for a nice price....I have the Jessica Simpson piece and it is just too bulky and unrealistic.

The ones I had actually werent tangly.Tangles didnt seem to be a problem at all.It was the actual texture that put me off.I used a fabric softener mix and even steamed it out and it still just didnt feel very nice.Itchy hair is just a pet peeve.I dont want it touching me and scratching the back of my neck, lol.
edited:to say that after steaming it out it did feel better.Just not enough for me to wear.

Bambilee, you are super pretty!! I think the hair looks good although a bit shiny. I'm not sure if wavy is more tangly than straight. You would think, but if it's tangly then whatever texture it is it will still be tangly. Most synthetic hair tangles...

very cute bambilee. Its a really good match. Its definitely a good introduction to extensions.I think people who have worn alot of hair especially synth will be dissapointed. But it honestly looks good.Mine were the wavy ones which might have something to do with them looking and feeling itchy.

Hello, after wearing the hairdo-synethic piece out, it kinda is a bit of a disapointment, it doens't look as good as on t.v... I actually just dyed my a hair a bit darker, I am a frequent visitor and poster on the HAIRCOLOR part of hairboutique fourms, I'll post a pic over here though.
I have really choppy layers so I don't know how yet to blend them with the one length of the hairpiece, it has layers in it, but very mild. Anywhoo I'll show ya and maybe you girls can give me an idea of where to place it or what... and I wish sooo badly I could be addicted to Hair extensions, i warned my husband I was going to buy my own stuff to do it myself...but I saved us some cash and decided I better just go with a piece. I think I should get the real hair, but I dunno how much hair is in it? the synethic piece is very little, you can sometimes spot the mesh... I had the idea of buying hair and actually sewing some more in..(if you can do that... I'll try anyting once.). I need more volume I think...anywhoo:
Sorry for the large photos, I can't rezize them. Dial up...sucks!

Kirsty~ I returned the clip-ins for Tease u-tip extensions. It was hard selling them. I already found a stylist for the application. Just waiting for the hair!!! Happy New Year to you too!

to be honest if you find the clip sizes too big on the easy do then you wil find them too big on the hairdo
comparing them side by side they are both exactly the same the only difference is the hair.
I have now washed and worn both the pieces. I would say that in terms of quality they are both the same. I thought the hair do was slightl;y superior but having washed it i think they are both about the same. The hairdo also dries with a slight wave and 'thickens' out a bit
The hair do does still feel muchsilkier but again i think that is because the easy do is in 613.
Both the pieces work really well for me. I have pictures of me wearing them both if you want to see.
Perhaps you could try sell it here. what colour is your easydo
Happy new year!
Kirsty xx

Hey Bambilee! I see an addict in the works (he he he....evil laugh).... I'm glad you're happy with it! I think if it's darker and it's under your own hair it probably looks good. Post pictures if you can!!

I just bought the synthetic hair-do piece. I like it, personally cause it just clips in easy... it is totally fake hair though. Unless you touch it however no-body knows the difference. I know nothing about extensions and never used them, so this was a good choice for me... however teh cap is too big, but no big loss, it still works, and it does clip snuggly to my hair which is thin aswell. I wanted the real hair but they didn't carry it and I doubt I would wear it that often to justify spending more on it.
The price was good and it serves it's purpose for me. Haha...
the color however is a bit off, since my hair seems to be a bit lighter than the swedish blonde color. But again nobody notices but me. Haha.

Kirsty~ I got the EasyDo & the hair is beautiful. The first thing I checked was the clips & sure enough they look too big for my fine thin hair. So I didn't open them as YourHairShop said I can't return it if I take it off the cardboard backing. I can return it for exchange but I don't need anything from them at the moment. I want to sell it (even if it means taking a loss) but don't know where or how!!!! How are you liking the Hairdo?

I'm glad to hear the human hair version of hairdo is nice.I've had two of the synthetic ones and they were pretty wiry and and dissapointing.
I'd really be interested in hearing more reviews of the Yourhairshop Easydo version.Although it sounds like the Jess peice is better quality its just out of my price range.

Kirsty~ I REALLY do appreciate your review on the hair pieces. I have fine/silky hair & it's very thin. After your comments, it sounds like YHS piece might look awkward based on the texture. Have you washed the Hairdo yet? If so, does it dry straight or with a little wave? Yes, please do check the cap size for me & let me know which one has a snugger fit. I think my head is normal size too!! Thank you SO much for all your help. You are a gem!
