I think she started as a long haired young actress. There used to be lots of long haired pictures of Janine on Google, but checking now, it seems they've all disappeared.

She was on Fox or MSNBC with her normal hair color it looked great. A lot better then her joke color.

If that was her intention, mission accomplished. She's always been naturally so pretty, ever since her Northern Exposure days, and I think there are lots of browns and reds that would work great for her. In this case her hair matches her skin tone, and I'm no expert, but it doesn't seem to me like a good thing.
