Have you tried hair sticks? I didnt do much with my hair when it wasyour length other than plait it or tie it back. But then I was only about 10.

Here are some of my styles- but my hair is longer so whether they would transfer I dont know:
(this one probably would google gibson braid and see if you can find it I cant remember where the instructions were and the site I was linked from is down)

simple french braid but I like it

sock bun- half up. I think this a pretty style and would work with most medium long to long lengths. (I class LONG as waist onwards)

An infinity bun- but not the best example, only photo I have though.

There's loads of stuff out there on how-to styles for long hair.  If you are more specific about why you don't like what you've seen, maybe we can think of other ideas! Smile  Have you tried twists?  Chinese buns?  Babycheeks is right about getting some hair toys. Sometimes if you buy a new accessory you aren't familiar with, you can figure out things to do with it that you wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

well you leave the options limited, try different barrettes.

Hi everyone!

As I said I'm growing my hair long, it's a couple inches past my shoulder blades now and I'm getting quite sick of it unfortunately. I haven't cut it for almost a year now and I'm just finding it really boring. All I can find to do with it is leave it down, it's naturally straight, or put it in a bun or ponytail. I don't have a fringe either so it doesn't look very nice. I can't cut it (don't ask) so I'm finding it really hard to find new things to do with it. I'm almost 18 years old now so I want something quite nice and sophisticated, I can't colour my hair either (don't ask) and I never have time to curl it (I'm doing A Levels at the moment and am at college from 7.30am til around 6pm with loads of other work to do.
I really need some ideas for my hair, I've looked on the internet, asked other people, looked at magazines but I can't find anything.
Any suggestions would be sooo much appreciated!
Thank you! =)Smile
