You hair looks like it would do well with a layered bob style but most importantly is how it fits with your whole body. I think that how long your neck is as well as how wide your sholders are are key to putting a shape that works for your life style. Any hair cut has to enhance your features so where you place length or take it away is key. I like to put hair up to see how it plays with the face then make a jugement in where to take the length to.
Everything you say, including that you prefer something short, makes me think of an angled bob (the kind that is straight, can have bangs or not, and angles longer in the front to sort of a point. i've had the same hair style for as long as i can remember. its changed lengths and occasionally had long bangs or layers, but its pretty much been straight and parted down the center for all of time.
i want to do something different, but i feel that there arnt many styles that work with my face shape/body that i would be comfortable with.
anyone have any suggestions?
i DO NOT want a girly hair cut, no curls, something managable. i'd prefer short, but not bulldyke (i can say that cuz im gay). i just want something different and more clean cut. possibly slightly alternative, but nothing too crazy (not a fan of the mohawk...). plus my hair is very thick and gets very oily, so its kinda hard to work with to begin.
