Heidi Collins New Haircut

My feeling is still that she doesn't really know what she wants to do with her hair.

Heidi's been a hair chameleon these past couple of weeks. Before election day she looked like this:

On election day, she surprisingly went back to the angled bob, shorter in the back. Was surprised to see her return to that style, as she'd seemed to have worked her way through it and moved past it in recent months.

Maybe she realized that, because somewhere between election day and today, she colored it again, from dark red to real brown, and appears to have cut it again. It's now a simpler, shorter layered cut with bangs. No pictures yet. Not that far in shape from where she started a year ago, when it was short and layered, before she grew it out at all!

I like this simpler non-bob style, but the brown color is less interesting and flattering than any of her shades of red, I think. More than anything, just curious to know what has prompted so many changes so quickly!

Kyra Phillips also appeared on CNN yesterday with a new cut. Kept the on-the-shoulder length, but cut through the top and added bangs. A needed improvement I think, before it always looked a bit bushy, now it flows better.

Crud! I wanted to detest it! Maybe I can loathe it... abhor... hmmmm...

Can't go with detest because to me its not that much worse than any other style she's had.  Now if at some point she had really great hair then went to this current look.. I would detest it.

she's one of my favorite's and i like this style but,in the first pic her face looks alittle too long for this style maybe alittle more length would be a good thing

I truly detest this "style".

I am so glad Heidi Collins is back on the air.

Loveshorthair, you must be in style heaven these days, because everywhere I go, every woman - and it really does seem like every woman at times - who has anything in the proximity of a bob, seems now to have that style with the shorter back.

I like it more than a standard bob, though it varies quite a bit by individual. Some versions look daring and sexy and playful and totally alluring. Others look like the woman backed into a weed whacker, and I think to myself, if it weren't behind their head and they could see this hack job, they'd most certainly demand a refund.

The ones I like most tend to be those with the smallest, least-severe angle (and the least amount of hair awkwardly hanging down their neck, flapping in the breeze).

Well I love that type of cut.  Shorter in the back and slightly longer in the front.  I generally like the front part no longer than chin length.  It is just so sexy to me.
