Thanks Diva.

Speaking of pony tails, I have to pin my ponytail down. The space they make with the drawstring as loose as possible is not enough room for my bun, soaking wet and shrunken.  So I just put it on top of my head basically and pin it down.

Thank you so much for replying...

Diva I have been watching the combs too, i only wear my wigs on the weekend too, so if it was going on it may not be as noticeable.

There's a number of factors..

1. the type of comb used.. I think in GENERAL plastic combs are less likely to cause damage
2. How you place the comb.. If you are ripping or tearing your hair when inserting the comb.. Well 'nuff said..
3. Balance. Like Mahogany said it's about making sure that the comb isn't supporting so much weight that it causes tigging and pulling on the hair..

On my drawstring ponytail pieces I've regularly adjusted, removed, or replaced combs to facilitate a gentle application while ensuring that the piece is adequately secured on my head.. I may eventually replace them all with barrette ponytail pieces..

My new wig is secured in the front with a comb and I have been watching like a hawk for signs of hair snagging in the comb or hairs being pulled at the front of my head (easy enough to do since my hair is now cornrowed). So far so good.. I think you just have to be diligent.. and at the first sign of trouble, adjust or remove.

Also, I just got a wig and the comb seems to get stuck, never had this happen. If I was to remove it, how do I keep the wig on?

Good Question cause I am getting into the wig wearing and am curious as well... I do know that I have placed a couple combs in my wig so that stress doesn't settle on any part in particular and I have a somewhat snugg fit...not  too fit cause I want to figure out the damage that is capable.
