i used a brand called Special Effects gave me a brillant purple  which lasted a long time

hi, i'm trying to dye a section of my hair purple, i'm using salerm color soft... i bleached it and left the dye for about half an hour but when i take it off its kind of light blue:S ive tryed so many times, i don't know what to do! please help!

I usually don't like manic panic, but "ultra violet" I do quite like. I usually leave it on for about 3-4 hours, and for the first maybe two washes it looks blue, but then it looks more purple, then when it starts to fade it stays a pretty lavenderish color =]

Renbow is supposed to one of, if not the best in crazy colours.

Does anyone know of any bold, long lasting purple dyes? I've used one called Splat in the past, but it turned pink over my bleached sections fairly quickly after I would dye it. I had to redo it probably every week to keep it solid enough.
