Here's a photo of how to use the net or any lace to do sew in clips. Put a light layer of adhesive (like Liquid Gold) onto the material and lay it straight across the weft. Place something heavy on it so it dries straight and even. Then sew the clips right into it. Works like a charm.
Amm, yours are so neat and pretty! You're making me look bad. They are fantastic. I've never used lace, but I can see how it would be very effective. Great to know others are doing this as well --- and professionals at that, who actually know what they're doing!!!
Love clip-ins and tape!

Generally yes, the weft rows would be all the same length, unless you want it tapering to your nape. Normally, I put three wefts to one piece of netting, but it depends on the thickness of the hair you're using. I know it sounds goofy, like the netting will stick out or something, But you would be amazed at how well it is covered and undetectable. What's great is if it comes out too big, you can just trim the piece yourself!

Oh, I'm sorry, I know I probably sound waaay confusing!! LOL.
What I mean by using the net is not to use it exactly like how it's used in a sew-in. What I do is cut the square block of net you get in the package. I cut, say, a 11" x 2" piece and start with that; sewing a weft onto it. Then, I sew another weft on top of it. I'm going to see if I can find a pic that I took of it while I was doing it....be right back
I sew my own as well. I sew single wefts onto a weave net, so they aren't bulky and are still undetectable in your hair. You could also try sewing them on stocking-type material or lace. You'd be surprised how well this works and they last for ages!
What is a weave net and where can i get them from?
