Thanks for all the positive feedback. I am really liking it so far. Will keep you all posted on how the hair wears an how MY hair does when it comes out. So far, I am happy. There are a lot more bonds in there than I would normally have but because my layers are so short and choppy in back she needed to go up really high and then cut like crazy so it would blend. Some oft the extension hair in back is cut to like 4 inches...but you can't see the line at all.
Why not have a great hair day???

VERY natural and very pretty! Congrats~ Smile

fakeizme, you can go pretty high up on the crown with individuals, they just need to be smaller bonds to be less detectable that high up.

OMG...that's got to be one of the most natural installs I've ever seen! Great job and very smart to start kind of conservative. The colour and texture is great. It's really nice to hear a positive story about GL. How long do you plan to keep it in for? It will be great to hear how your removal goes; make sure they don't rush through it! I had no idea you could go that high up on the crown with GL; fantastic. Let us know how it wears for you!Smile
Love clip-ins and tape!

I have been getting extensions for about 4 years and feel like I have done it all. A lot of DIY and wefts as well as individuals. About 6 months ago, I SWORE off extensions but - I'm back and I broke down and went with GL to give it a try to myself. My hair is very short due to a BAD choice of hair cut and I want to go back to long with extensions slowly so I started with just 8" and will go to 12" with my next install and so on.

I have to say it was SOOOOOO lovely not to do my hair myself and the blending she did is really good. My hair was short and VERY blunt cut in the back. When I tried to put wefts in it myself it was a total mushroom head disaster. I know a lot of you ladies are DIY QUEENS and folks here have had mixed results with GL but I thought I would share this experience.

There are about 250 strands (5 bundles) all over my head. She trimmed the bonds so they are about half and inch long and about the width of piece of rice (uncooked) installed - It took about 3 1/2 hours for the install and blending. The go practically up to my part but you cannot see them at all. Plus they are very light and comfortable on my head.

The first photo is before.

right after brushed

spritzed with water and scrunched a little

I am happy with it. Although not a HUGE change, I feel like it has taken years off my face! I will keep you posted on how the hair hold up and how my hair is when they come out.
