Have you heard of castile soap? It comes in a bar and it is residue free. I never thought of using a bar of soap because from what I understand you want the soap not to be laden with scents and stuff. Dr. Bronners is a popular castile soap you can find it in any health food store....Thumbs%20Up

Would a regular bar of Zest soap be efficient enough to wash dreads with?  And is this soap residue free?
