I am like griff....I haven't had nape problems since I have been wearing the units.....(go figure).  I use supertape and either davlyn or secure.  What I do is apply the tape strips directly to the lace and strips directly on my nape area....then I apply a layer of the adhesive to the tape that is attached to my nape area.  I let it dry a bit then attach......it's a strong hold for me that last for as long as I wear my unit.....HTH

also when you get ready to lay down the unit on the nape bend your head forward so that you are not apply it with too much tension at the nape like you would if you head was in a upright position..

You have to make sure that you are not pulling the unit too much in the back. Make sure you have enough room to turn your head before you glue it. If you turn your head and the unit it too tight, then your gonna have lifting. I always lean my head forward a little while applying my nape. It might seem a little loose but that way I know I'm giving myself enough room to turn my head without pulling my unit up.

Another thing, after I apply my unit, I put a head scarf around my nape area for about 30 minutes to make sure its secure.

You got your Invisibond to hold much better for you than I could. It wouldn't even hold for 1 whole day on me.

I usually use Vapon No Tape or Davlyn for the soft bond on my skin. Then I attach Pro Flex No Shine strips around the front of my lace and Super Tape around the back/nape of my lace. Once that tape touches that adhesive on my skin that baby aint goin nowhere. With that combo I can do high ponytail, buns, headbands, chopsticks...you name it.

The nape is hard...I use:

Blue Liner strips, 1 coat of vapon not take with 1 coat of cream adhesive.... This usually last me about 3 days of I let the adhesives dry for the correct amount of time.

I cant find my pircture, but when I do I will post!

Hope it works for you!

It works for me when I have to wear a high ponytail...other than that

Hi ladies, i just got done reading the newbie thread (thanx Sexi) and to all that contribute, i am having such a struggle with finding a combo for my nape so that i can rock that high ponytail. i use invisibond for the front, i have supertape that i did combo with the blue tape strips (the ones with holes in them) and i put a think layer of invisibond and i think even with that it only held for about 4 days, but it wasnt coming up some in the back, so i definitely didnt want to pull it up in a pony and have my whole unit lifting upmopei dont know what to try, can you all post some suggestions of what you all use, i want to wear my unit to the full potential, TIA
