Sophiaone, As far as what has worked best. Wefted Hair and Clip ins.
I love wearing my clip ins, but, I think, in my case, its a good idea to switch from them for a while and give those bald spots a breather.
The rest of my hair has flourished while I wore the clip ins over the past 6 months though. So, overall, even with the ordeal of having to put them in and take them out all of the time, they are probably my favorite way of wearing extensions.
I did like the way the individuals seemed to flow together with my own hair and they did feel more natural to me. But... I was never able to feel comfortable with them as they always seemed to be peaking out somewhere on my head. I'm sure much of that is due to how short my hair was at that time.
The microcylinders with the wefts just didn't want to stay in my hair either. And, my experience with them, is that I did have some damage. Perhaps due to the fragilness of my own hair also.
And the LG with the weft... The only problem i had with that is that my hair is med. brownish red and the glue turns white within a few days of installing it. So, I had this white frosty looking glue throughout my hair.
I've been looking into a sew in and think that will be a way to go in the future. But, I do have a feeling that will be high maintenance for me as my hair is so fine. I'd probably need heavy maintenance every two to three weeks.

Different topic, but...
Fakeizme, cute name, btw, what kind of tape do you wear? And do you use glue with it?
Awww...thanks. I wear two kinds of tapes. For the double weft (sewed together) I wear the Protac --- easier since it's so thick/wide I can fit them in no problem. For the single wefts higher up, I wear Supertape strips (I think they are thin strips/satin strips with printing on one side) I love the Supertape strips --- they are easy to work with and very secure. they also seem a little easier to cleanup/remove when it's time to uninstall. Love that!!!! I do put a little glue on each tape --- usually just the ends so they don't lift after awhile. Gives a sense of security that just can't be beat. I don't seem to have a problem removing them with the glue, however, I think glue ON tape is easier to get out than just glue on the hair.
what is your favorite so far and why? obviously clips are great since you can remove them when you want but over long time wear, they can create tension on the hair. I was going to try the tapes (seamless wefts) with pro-tac since they seem lighter than clipins. I was doing strand by strand but wanted to take a break for a while.

Hi Sofiaone. In that picture, I am wearing clip ins. Just ordered my Bohyme hair and am in process of deciding how I want to install it.
In this last year, I have tried wefts installed with microcylinders, wefts installed with LG, keratin tipped individuals, a one piece clip in and these clip ins.
I love the clip ins... but, being that I wear them all of the time (not during sleep) and have been wearing them for about 6 months, I have recently noticed about three (almost bald) places at my scalp and they are right where my clips go. It is absolutely from those clips. It has me thinking my hair may need a break from the clips for a while.
Hi ladies! I'm fairly new to the whole extension scene. I currently have sew in weave but am looking for a more cost effective route - I want to try clip ons. Does anyone know a good brand of hair that has great longevity? Opinions on silky straight and wavy? thanks all! The Boyhme sounds great. Also how many ounces is it? I would like a food head - about 9 ounces

If you want my honest opinion...I think you are DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, and I wouldnt change a thing! Your hair looks great, and IMHO BETTER than Jessica Biel's hair!
But, anywho.... The Euro body would give you more body to work with in getting the waves and tossled look without as much effort. But the hair texture itself wont be as silky as the SS., and probably a little bit coarser. Its still a fine texture but not as smooth.
Ummm....I completely agree with Sherrie; your hair looks fantastic as is!!! Why mess with perfection?

Thx for the nice compliment Sherrie. And, on that note... right back at ya. It is awesome sharing this site with all of the beautiful women such as yourself.
As far as the hair goes... Thx for your opinion on that. It looks like it's going to be the Silky Straight again. In the long run, the silkiness of the hair will make it wear better and last longer... even if I will have to spend an extra 5 minutes curling it every so often...
Truth is, once you curl the silky straight hair, it holds the curl very well.

Thx for the info Sherrie. I, too, have experimented with some of the various textures, including FR, and I do agree that the Silky Straight has such a nice feel and is easy to work with. Which is the reason I question whether I should order the European Body or not.
Being that you have actually felt the texture and seen the hair, I thought I would post a couple of pics, and see if you have a further opinion on whether that European Body may get me what I want. One is me with silky straight and the other , the actress, Jessica Biel, with the texture of hair I would like.

I don't wear a lot of hair. Just enough
to make up for some length I lost with
a bad bleach job. I would describe my
own natural hair as fine. But, I do have
a lot of it.
I like the slight messy wave she has.

Hi KrystalR, I love the Bohyme silky straight, so far I havent found anything that compares to it. (as far as the smooth texture) Its very silky and very smooth. The only other Bohyme texture that is as smooth is the bodywave (but I dont think its as durable).
I have tried ALOT of other brands and textures of hair, and nothing beats Bohymes Silky straight if you like that texture. I havent worn the European body, but I have seen it and felt it. I have worn the Bodywave and the French Refined Bohyme and neither of them are quite like the straight.
I love Bohyme hair and have been wearing the silky straight hair and adding some loose messy spiral type curls with a large barrel curling iron.
I just run my fingers through the curls and it ends up being a slightly wavy, tossled look.
Its time to buy new hair again and as I started shopping, I saw this other type of Bohyme hair and it looks like mine does after I curl it and finger comb it. So... I was thinking... Hmm... Maybe that would be nice.
But, since I know nothing about this hair... and since I've wasted so much $$$ on hair this year already...
I thought I would ask for opinions before I tossed my credit card out there once again.
Has anyone used the Bohyme European Body Hair? I saw it on the Ebony Line page and , hopefully, this link will work.
