LG vs Tape vs Vapon No Tape Vs ??? Questions

Anyway, another question or two from me.

I am eventually going to try a sew in but... in the meantime... I'm considering doing another LG or LG with Tape or Tape Alone or maybe even Vapon NoTape install.  Everyone says you need to try it all...

So, I was looking for advice on any of these types of installs.

I have not used tape at all. But, when I first started using extensions, I used LG and it was a very temporary install for me.

Lasted about two weeks, even with touch ups in between... And I did use clarifying shampoo, etc...

That I could handle...

But, I couldn't handle the way it turned white, even with dark brown rit dye added to it.

So... some questions I have are... If I use tape with the LG, will it help avoid the white color the LG turns? And, if so, which tape do you recommend? And... how about the Vapon No Tape?
