Futurebiotics HSN - Contains 1500 mg of biotin, as well as, horsetail extract and regular multi-vitamins (i.e. A,C,D,E calcium, etc.) I like these better than the GNC HSN vits that I used to take
Source Naturals MSM powder (1/2 tsp = 2.5g) - great for hair growth and also great for soothing muscles after working out!
Evening Primrose Oil (1300 mg)Great for skin & hair and regulates hormones and mood (aka PMS )
NSI Flaxseed/Fish Oil Complex (2500 mg) Great for skin and hair and overall health
EVO Coconut Oil (1-2 tbsp daily) - great for hair & skin, but esp. great for weight loss!
Organic ACV (1-2 tbsp w/ water) I usually get Bragg's which has "the mother" in it
Plenty of Organic fruits, veggies and naturally processed lean meats!!!
I still want to add a vitamin B - complex in which case I will probably get rid of my Biotin since that would probably be overload for me
I get everything except the ACV from vitacost.com. They have great prices and shipping for $4.99 no matter how much you order, so I just order everything I need at one time.
I've also taken deodorized garlic from GNC over the past 12 years whenever I feel myself starting to get sick or if everybody around me is already sick. It's used as an antibiotic in 3rd world countries. If I take 4 or 5 before bed for a sore throat or inflamed sinuses I'm as good as new when I wake up in the morning.
well i take a bunch of stuff so i can't say what i can't do without.. i take maximum living products the they are expensive but give me a lot of energy and get my body on the right track which included's;
Biotin (1000 mg)-- It helped my hair grow and gave me clear skin. I know that some people say that they breakout from it, but maybe they just need to lower the dosage.
Ladies what vitamins and supplements do you swear by and why? Which ones give you adverse side effects? Here is my 2 cents about what does and doesn't works for me:
1. Centrum multivitamin
2. CoEnzymeQ-10 (100 mg gelcaps): I swear by these. They give me physical and mental energy that lasts all day long by improving heart and blood vessel function. It's supposed to help individual red blood cells transport oxygen throughout the body better. I tend to be slightly anemic sometimes and I find that these stop me from being tired and getting cold.
3. GNC Fish Body Oils (1000mg): I take 2 of these every day. It seems like it gives me more mental energy and it definately moisturizes my skin from the inside out. I don't even need to use lotion when I take these consistently.
4. Ginko Biloba (60 mg capsuls): I take 2 of these everyday and it helps with memory and concentration. I find it's more difficult for me to write long reports when I stop taking these.
Question: I tried chromium picolinate and it's great at stopping my cravings for sweets and carbs but it's acts like a diuretic in my system and it made my monthly cycle all wierd. Anybody else have adverse side effects with this stuff?
