One thing I would -love- to see is European hair permed into a tighter or kinky curl. Some AA people I know (at least, here in MI) have natural hair where the density and curl is thick, but each individual strand of hair is very, very fine.  I am wondering if tightly permed European hair would realistically give this look for people who find that Indian / Chinese hair looks too heavy.

Fugee, that hair is beautiful including the colour. is it European hair or Indian hair or Chinese hair? I will get a #613 lace frontal from him in the next few weeks and that pic seals the deal! LOL

About the root colour: I am a bleached blonde (from Natural Level #2 - dark brown). BUT, I hate to have blonde roots! Smile so after I bleach my roots, I apply either Roux Mousse or Rinse in a darker colour like plush brown or muted maize. This lasts in between shampoos; I don't see why it wouldn't work for a lace front. Or you could easily do a demi-permanent on your roots only (like Natural Instincts); it would look so awesome.

Thought I would just throw my 2 cents in!

Wow, thanks -- you guys are the best!  You're right, of course: Jack was able to get the perfect color w/o special instructions, so I can trust that his root color will also be on point without any help from me.  Sleepy

Let's all sit back and wait for someone to try to sell a "Lace Wig Vendor Phrasebook" on ebay. Secrets of business communication in the international wig trade: Just 15.99 if purchased as as companion to our exclusive Secret Vendor List....

It practically pays for itself.

That is pretty. I think you should leave like the picture with the darker roots and lighter ends. It will look more natural that way IMO

Last week I posted a question about Jacksun's color #613.

It turns out that my worries were unnecessary, b/c Jack sent me a picture of the hair after processing to "verify that the very light color is correct".  Heart

The color in his pics looks great (see below), but I'm new to root color and am wondering if I need to give any special instructions about the root color prior to ventilation.  I'm trying for the "just growing in" look, not dark roots growing out all the way to ear or chin length.

Has anyone ordered root color from Jacksun? How long were those roots? Do I need to provide follow up instructions for how long the roots should be?
