i LOVE schwarzkop bleach. i have tried them all-
Redken, graphics, paul mitchell, wella, via, and i am hooked on the schwarzkop, the hair gets really light and no damage. typicially i use 30 vol and Sometimes a bit of heat, after it has been on like 5 mins or so, but depending on the level u start with.
all stylists have a preference so ask 10 stylists and u will prob get 10 different answers!
I am a Paul Mitchell the School graduate and I hate Dual Purpose Lightener. I think it's totally unpredictable and leaves the hair feeling like doo doo. I'm not a huge fan of CHI products, although I have not tried the sunglitz. We use Wella Blondor in my salon and it always looks great and the hair doesn't feel like total crap afterwards. We also use Goldwell Oxycur, but a lot of the stylists don't like it because it doesn't lift as well and it swells too much. Hope that helps some!
Hi SherryConn! I wanted to let you know about a really good website forum for professional stylists/hairdressers: www.askmags.com. I am not a professional, but I lurk on the forum to read about hair colour! I have learned a lot from that site. There's also behindthechair.com.
I have used PM dual purpose lightener - loved it! Came up fast and gentle.
From what I have READ, SunGlitz is a little more harsh of a lightener. Gets mixed reviews, but a lot of colourists seem to find that it leaves the hair in poor condition. It is effective though.
Hope I didn't waste your time since I am not a professional!!!!
Love clip-ins and tape!

Can anyone who’s in the salon industry help answer my question...Please!!
Can someone who's used both of these products tell me which of the two would be less damaging? I know with the PM DPL you are not supposed to use heat and with Sunglitz I’ve seen it used with and without heat. Does anyone know the contents of these products? Thank you! :)
