If you are thinking of dying your eyebrows at home coloursport in brown is good, but if the hair is very dark, use jolene bleech to prelighten first. This is a very good product & very popular!! You may want to try just the ends first to see if the colour is what you want. If u are unsure you can always dye it black and forget the idea and go to a salon. 24, 48 hours before applying to the face do a skin senstivity test on a clean patch of skin behind the ear to test for a reaction. very important!! If this sounds like hardwork you could treat your self and go to a salon. By the time you have messed around with home product`s it may work work out just as cost effective. The salon will should help you out with the skin test before you have the treatment and may recommend their products that you can buy and take home with you after you have had the first treatment done in the salon. You can then used these prouducts in your normal beauty routineas often as they recommend. The salon can also do an eyebrow reshape to complete your new look. Eyelash dying at home is not recommended because of the low levels of peroxide getting in your eyes. Never just slaver chemical dyes on your skin or hair without testing it first even if you go to a salon do the treatments at home youself. Good luck hope this was helpful to you!!!!
You can lighten them yourself with some Jolene Creme bleach from the drugstore. It`s a thick paste once the bleach and the accelerator are mixed together so there`s very little danger of it running into your eyes. Don`t leave it on too long. 5 minutes should do the trick. You want your eyebrows to be a light brown if your hair is blonde. Or you can try using a light brown eyebrow gel or cream eye shadow over them for a more temporary look.

Dear Ruth, What is just as important as the color of your eyebrows is the shape. It makes a subtle difference and can really add to attractiveness. My wife has perfectly shaped eyebrows that suit her look. I also agree with Lyris, color and shape can be done better by a professional hair stylist! It`s up to you. Many natural blondes have dark eyebrows, so you could dye or keep them dark. But whatever you do, DO NOT dye them yourself! Hair color boxes always have a warning label stating that this can cause blindness because dye can drip into the eyes. I suggest going to a salon to have it done. Hope this helps!

my hair is dyed blonde from med.brown. everyone says it looks really good and I really like it also. My eyebrows are almost black. alot of people say to lighten them up a couple of shades and i will look better and more natural. others say to leave them because they bring out my dark eyes. What do you think? thanks
