Pomade/wax might help--but be careful: using too much creates the greaseball effect.

Hi I was just wondering how its possible to achieve the piecy look with a shaggy shoulder length layered cut. My hair is thick and wavy. I used to blow dry it straight everyday when it was all one lengh. It just dosnt look right when I do this now. When it air drys its messy. Ive tryed straitnig balm, hairspraying my whole head, and mousse. Thinking about gel. I want a straight peicy look. To be exact I want it to look like it does when its wet, but not a wet look! Thanks
