The best way to trim extensions is with a razor since the ends are much thicker than "grown" hair. If you use scissors you're likely to end up with very choppy lines and those can be tough to blend once they're there. It can be done with scissors if you pointcut it but it's more work. Either way you need a certain level of dexterity and mirror setup to see all angles of your head.
You would probably want to have a hairdresser who is accustomed to cutting extensions do it for you - especially if you want to wear it straight. It can be done yourself - I usually do, but then again I went to cosmetology school and I'm not all that leery of making mistakes because I'll fix them or just re-install. A bunch of ladies here cut their own too and it looks great. Just depends upon your comfort level, dexterity and tolerance for mistakes.

I there - I wish to take a few inches of my new EasyDo from yourhairshop - I am no hairdresser and was looking for some tips on how to trim the extensions hair - may sound dumb but don't want to ruin the hair - thanks ;)
