I`m told it`s an asymetrical bob. My ethnicity is Asian and Latin and that`s my favorite style for the moment for my stick straight brunette hair. The front is slightly below my chin and goes sharply up to the back of my head in a 45 degree angle. The hair below that "line" is tapered to my neck. I have layers in the back to give me volume depending on the occasion. It`s great if you have straight hair. Have fun with it!! I have light highlights in the front and wear it parted in the middle.

i have had this cut 2 times it is called an inverted bob
i think every girl like myself should
cut off their ponytail once in their
lifetime it is truly amazing

That style of short bob haircut with it cut short in back is a very attractive and sexy cut for a woman! Short chic hairstyles of every type are definately what is happening in women`s fashion nowadays!Let us know if you decide to get your new hair style!

Hi Sarah,
I should know this because I am canadian. The style you are describing is commonly known in the united states and canada as THE CANADA BOB, becuse it was supposedly invented by a canadian hairstylist. but if you go to a good beautician they should be able to give you the cut just by your description. but mention CANADA BOB anyway!

I have shoulder length think blondish hair and would like a bob haircut. Im not to sure what its called, but its is cut high into the back of thehead and the neckline is clippered.

does anyone know what it maybe called?
And how do they do this type of cut? A description would be apprecited.
I have seen this before and it looks wicked, so Im thinking of getting this done.

Sorry as I am new to this. and pictures would be greatful as well. I hope to get this cut maybe on Saturday
