Well I'm still mulling it over and getting a bit crazy. Thanks to everyone who's given advice so far. But I'll change the question, anyone think I'll look worse/bad with short hair?

The only reason "Most guys" have short hair is gender roles... I mean, would most girls consider shaving their heads because of a problem like this? I mean that's partly down to gender roles, but still. Don't feel like it's something you should do, or you'd be just as happy that way. Think back to your reasons for growing your hair. It's far too easy to fall into the trap of cutting your hair off - I mean most guys who have long hair end up doing it! And the vast majority of guys have long hair.
It's amazing how powerful gender roles are. So make sure 100% that it's your decision, because you may not even realise that you regret it if you make this mistake!
It will take years to grow back and you may decide it's not worth the effort.
I dont know if i agree with you on the "the only reason 'most guys' have short hair is gender roles" thing. I dont see how cutting your hair equates you to "falling into the trap", which implies weakness or ingnorance. I just cant see how having shorter hair implies weakness or conformity. At a younger age i can see how your parents influence your decision. But in the 18+ range, it becomes personal choice, not a weakness.
"Don't feel like it's something you should do, or you'd be just as happy that way." Certainly he should not feel like it is something he should do, but he asked for suggestions. And he may feel happy with a buzz cut, he had one before and has suggested that he could do it again to solve the widow peak issue.
"I mean most guys who have long hair end up doing it! And the vast majority of guys have long hair". Most guys with long hair end up cutting their hair - well ok? So they want to make a change and possibly dont like the longer hair and all its upkeep so they cut it off - but you imply that when they cut it off its because they are weak and must conform to the gender roll. Well, they did not conform to the gender roll for several years and grew out their hair, so why this sudden weakness? Weakness no, desire for an easier "wake up and go" hairstyle or a change - yes.
"So make sure 100% that it's your decision, because you may not even realise that you regret it if you make this mistake!" How can one person "not even realise that you regret it if you make this mistake"?? So he wont ever know that he regrets it...that doesnt sound like a bad thing...i dont get it. Its like having an affair and then getting abnesia??? Why is the decision to cut his hair a mistake, he may want to do it, so how can that be wrong.
Sorry for the rant, but when i reread your post, it really sounded degrading to the poster who is considering to cut his hair b/c of a widows peak issue. The issues is "what should he do in trying to solve the widow peak issue" The answer is to let it grow out and it may look odd for a period of time or get the rest of your hair cut short and let all your hair grow out again longer if you want to. Its your choice, either will be fine, and hair grows back, so if you want longer hair again, go on the grow again. Hope this helps! Good luck.

I personally prefer really short haircuts on a guy. You have really nice features so I think having short hair would enhance them as in the pics it seems hidden behind all the hair. And just imagine how much easier it would be to deal with a really short cut as opposed to long.
That said, there is nothing wrong with long hair so if you miss it, you can start over and grow it back without the issue you are mentioning.

An easy fix for the widows peak is to get a shorter (buzz) cut and just let the front grow out as the rest of the hair grows out, then it wont look as strange as you described (long hair with a short grow out in front).
Good luck!

I think you'd look good with either long, or buzz cut, so its really up to you. I do think you look better with your natural widows peak though (again, fine without, just better with).

Get it cut shorter, you will wish you had done it years ago. Get a #2 on the sides and back and #5 on top tapered in. Then, you can let your widows peak grow out and not have it look so strange b/c the rest of your hair will be close in length.
I had longer hair in highschool and got it cut like above and have not regretted it for over 20 years! It only got shorter over time.
Good luck

I've been debating with myself whether or not to but my hair for the past six months. I figured I may as well get the opinion of some strangers. Should I go back to a buzz cut? Or rather would a buzz cut be alot worse/better or the same?
Also I started shaving my widow's peak while I was growing my hair, now I need to shave it everyday, and even then you can sort of see the shadow of where it is, I put some pictures of that on the bottom, thats a major reason I'd like to go to a buzz cut a start over.
