ion Color Brilliance at Sally's is a one good option. It has micropigments and low ammonia, and it has a good developer. (Sadly, it does contain PPD like the drugstore brands and every other permanent color at Sally's.)
My recommendation is to buy Goldwell Topchic on the internet. You can get it on Ebay, for example.

Hi, does anyone know what is the closest equivalent of goldwell hair color to any over the counter brands or from Sally's? My colorist uses 5n and 6a on my roots but I just can't afford to go every 4 weeks since I just lost my job. Hope someone can help. Thanks.
