i got one too, b/c i don't like the frizzy hair, the curl pattern is smaller and it reacts that way.. i've re-rodded mine's and used a different type of roller to reperm it, and now its more smoother and silky..

I can totally relate to that dryness! I have naturally curly hair and if I just put water and leave-in conditioner on it, it would poof and get dry by the end of the day. I hated that. What I discovered is that you have to play with products. Definitely keep wetting it in the a.m., put a leave-in on, but add some type of curl-holding spray/gel/cream on top. You have to layer the products to keep it from frizzing/drying. The other trick is not to touch the hair AT ALL while it is drying!!!! Very important. The curls will get messed up and frizzy. All of this is why I eventually started straightening my hair/flat ironing --- much easier to deal with!
Love clip-ins and tape!

I recently purchased what I thought was a Brazilian Wave from Jacksun, which really looks and now ACTS like a kinky curly....I am lost with this unit. In the AM the curls/waves or whateva you want to call them look nice, but once the hair starts to dry it because bunchie and matted looking at the ends. I don't really know what to do! I use Paul Mitchell Foaming Pomade on it with water. I really want to turn this unit wavy...is this possible or no? Or is it possible to loosen the pattern so that it wont seem so rough? I'm not a kinky curly type chic at all. I should have just went with my right mind and sold the unit, but i was afraid that if I did I may not have recvd a new one before Memorial day weekend. I have added some pics here in the thread for opinions and recommendations. I really like the waviness at the roots and the baby hair, but don't like the texture on the ends. If I can't achieve a more tameable look then I will consider just making the unit straight...I like the color I added to the unit and want to try to make this work...you advice would be HIGHLY appreciated, a s I need to get the items ASAP so I can have this unit functional by Friday!! i have attached pictures for your viewing...
thank ladies!
