Do you mean an angled bob - longer in front, graduating to short in back, with a wedge cut/ clippered in the back? That could look great (I think it would look better precision-cut than in the layered/choppy variety that's come out in recent years), but watch out for the following points:
-if you have thick hair, the bob might come out poofy. Consult with the stylist before cutting.
-I suggest you DON'T get blunt bangs with it, just the bob and at most a few wispy bangs if at all.
-Decide whether you want it just angled or "elevated" (that's when the wedge is so high the hair has to be clippered above the nape and the front is like a bob, the back practically a mushroom cut. You may not want to go so drastic, and the angled bob's wedge can be made lower than the nape. It's best to find a picture of what you like, first.
Good luck. Any chance you could post before/ after pictures?
I THINK UNDERSHAVE HAIRCUTS ARE THE BEST, I HAVE ONE MYSELF AND ITS SO EASY TO DO YOURSELF..JUST MAKE SURE THE GUIDE DOESNT POP OFF THE CLIPPERS..GOOD LUCK TO YA
