Both Mega Hair and Socap are fusion extensions. So Cap is a much, much better bonding adhesive than Mega Hair. I wouldn't waste my time with Mega Hair.
thanks Metalgirl...for your feedback. in your experience, would you prefer a method like "megahair" or the socap that you use for strand by strand method?
I have used Mega Hair before. It was actually one of the very first strand by strand extensions, invented by this guy named Sal Megna, right here in Sacramento.
The Mega Hair brand is now owned by New Concepts Hairgoods. It comes either pretipped with keratin, or you can use their hot pot or glue gun with glue stick.
I haven't used it in years, so I don't know if the formulation has changed, but it wasn't a real good bond in the past. It shed a lot back in the day...
Hi everyone....a cousin of mine in socal was talking to her hairdresser about extensions and she was telling her about "Megahair" glue extensions that a friend of hers does. I was telling her that is sounds like a glue pot fusion extension method to me but wanted to hear from you ladies if anyone has tried this or heard of it and what your experience with it has been.
