Since she became one of the most famous kidnap victims in recent history, she wrote a book and went on Oprah's show and toured to promote the book. A reminder of how she looked during her kidnapped days:

So it looks like she's always had long hair. I guess you mean how long will it be before she goes from very long hair to merely long hair? I would think that to most people on this board, that is a non question.
