I love the 3rd and 7th picture by HAWG and the 8th 16th and 17th by Conrad although my overall favourite is the 14th picture posted by Conrad.
 
So are you going to go short or have you changed your mind again?

I would not cut it shortidea. without trying a chin length bob first. If so I would cut the back a tad shorter than the front, yes off the collar but tapered. Side bangs leading into a nice fringe with a side part. Dye dark brown and carmel high lites to bring out your very pretty facial features and high cheek bones.

my hair is actually pretty straight with a very slight natural wave. definitly not curly, hardly even wavy. i'll see if i can find any pictures.

So, first we need to know what the texture of your hair is.  It appears that you have medium to fine hair.  Is your hair naturally curly or wavy?  Do you have any pictures of yourself with your hair dried naturally?

so lately i've been letting my hair grow out.
but i've always wanted super-short hair.
and i'm thinking i might take the plunge, but first i'm getting opinions.
 
this is the shortest i've had my hair to date (this was a year ago):
 
i really want something shorter, more like this:
 
but i'm open to suggestions.
so what do you think?
could i work it?
or should i just keep growing my hair out?
