Please don't laugh at me, but do you know any names or pictures of the products and brush your talking about. I've never used a blowdryer on my hair either so I'm kind of lost. Thanks for the info.
Start out by using a heat protectant or similar, to keep from damaging his hair in the process, which can make his hair frizzy. Then, when hair is damp, section hair into 4 sections, using a hand brush [paddle brush, would be best, imo], dryer set on a low or medium, with warm (rather then hot), start at the roots, ending at the tips, and continue until you're finished.
doubt truth to be a liar.

My son is 13 years old and has never had his hair blow dried or even straightened. I was wondering how do I blow dry his hair straight and what products do I use? Do I need the blow dryer that has the comb or brush attachment or should I use a hand brush and what setting should I have the dryer on? He is african american/cuban and has very thin curly/straight hair( like kimora simmons daughter aoki just very thin or r&b singer llyod and mya) that has alot of shrinkage and I'm looking to do this maybe once every 3 to 4 months to help with managability. Any Suggestions Please.
