I agree with Fakeizme about using the bleach,,and I absolutely hate using bleach unless necessary. But since Henna has a notorious reputation for being difficult to lift off the hair, bleach may be the only alternative. Just remember to condition, condition and condition some more before and afterwards.
Oh, and I would not use henna again unless you are sure you want to keep a reddish color for several years. I used henna a long time ago, too. I swear I never got rid of it until I eventually cut my hair. Arrgh !! :-

First, , good for you in doing all that and getting good results! A lot of people wouldn't do that on their own. Awesome.
I would say at this point, that you would have to bleach. (I sound like a bleach pusher!) now, if you want ash blonde, you could apply a demi in an ash natural blonde colour in, say, a level 7 to some selected hairs. Foil that in. Then you could apply bleach to other selected hairs; foiling it in. This method would give you a base of ash blonde and light blonde highlights--- hopefully giving you an overall LOOK of medium blonde! Whew!
It's do-able, but will take patience and precision.
Natural color is Medium Ash Blond. I colored it with henna for years, for nice deep red. Then I stopped and for a year I colored it with demi-permanent box color in copper red to let the henna grow out and transition.
And now the 24-shampoos-and-gone red doesn't want to be gone! I did the Shampoo Train, and then three treatments of Sodium Bisulfite + citric acid (followed each time by ascorbic acid and citric acid scrubs). I managed to get the red down to a "crazy carrot" color - from deep red, it's an improvement. But for my target color, Medium (on the light side) Blond, it's not good enough! not at all.
So, now I'm sporting the Brightest Orangish Gold that slowly blends into Crazy Carrot. And I need that last step to medium ash blond (or five steps, I'm motivated here!) Any advice?
