Do you stick with brushes bought in salons or can something bought from Wal-Mart do the trick? Is there something I should look for?
Also, my hair is not super long...long layers just to my shoulders but the last girl who blow dried my hair used it and my hair hair never looked so nice!!

I use the ball tipped paddle brush on clients with long hair to smooth and straighten the hair, giving it shine too. I feel the natural boar brushes make hair to static.

I want to try using a paddle brush to blow dry my hair as it seems to yield a straighter/smoother style. However, what is the best paddle brush to use? Should I use something that has 100% natural boar bristles or can I use one with ball-tipped bristles? I am clueless on this one...
