Nexxus emergencee is great,but be sure to condition after you use it.Also,how often are you using it? Hopefully not everyday.Only once a week or every couple of weeks because too much protein can be bad for your hair too.
When my hair was like this,I used to just sit with conditioner in my hair for HOURS at time.
I also used a spray leave in conditoner on my hair.
Try using Redken EXTREME anti snap leave in treatment,it helps soften the hair and protect it from further breakage.

i really am having a hard time with my hair.a few weeks ago i used a semi perm.colr by beautiful collection i was told it is very gentle.well ever since my hair is bone dry frizzy and so puffy.i have bought everything under the moon with no help.i also used nexxuss emergencee to stop my hair from falling. and of course that isnt helping.i trimmed my hair 7 weeks ago and i swear i feel like its getting shorter.i have been reading product reviews and have bought just about everything that was mentioned.and nothing is helping with the dryness.the next day after washing my hair its so tangled i i cant get my fingers through my hair.i also have been taking biotin vitamins for almost 2 months with no growth at all.please i cannot go get another trim my hair has lost 6 inches already.no way.i will get a wig if i have to. thanx guys.(sorry its so long)
What condition was your hair in before applying the semi?
Try using olive oil and wrap your hair in a towel, as the heat from your scalp will help the olive oil penetrate better in to your hair. Leave on for 30 mins comb the hair and rinse of with warm water and shampoo gently, no need for conditioner, try and see if it helps.

then you possibily need to just cut it all off and start again. My hair went like this and was really long. Something you can try is hot oil. Work a treat but other than that it obviously has wrecked the hair you have so you need to cut out the colour
