Hair Question?

You said you had a bob before, chin length, and didn't like it. And you said you don't want to go real short. Why not something in between like a shorter bob that you can tuck behind your ears.

Like you I have VERY straight hair. I also have dark hair and a "tan" complexion. If your hair doesn't take curl, then don't curl it, leave it straight and grow it or try a shorter cut.

Maybe you can find a salon with a "virtual" machine that can let you see what you would look like with different styles!

I need some good opinions on what to do with my hair. I am in a state that my hair needs NEW LIFE, however I am not sure what to do. My hair is naturally a light brown color, straight and I mean there is NO natural wave to it, when I try to curl it the curl falls out within one to two hours, and all that is left is a flip at the end, if that~ My lenght is about 3-4 inches past my shoulders with LONG layers the shortest layer being below my chin. I do have bangs that kind of angle down the left side of my face and my part is a side part on the right going to the left. I have NO LIFT to my hair at all either. I have tried to even tease the underneath and brush hair over it to give it a boost, but it doesn't look good. My hair is Fine, but I have alot of hair. It however is not thick at all. I don't color it, but would, or at least highlight it, NOTHING outrageous. I really want a good style for my hair that I can do alot with and a good color to bring some life to my hair. I have a golden skin tone. When I tan I tan easily and I tan brown not red, so I need colors that will look good with my tone. I have brown Eyes, and dark almost black eyebrows. I also have a LONG neck, so I tend to want to keep some length because I don't feel that Short hair is flattering on me. I had a bob to my chin before and it made me look like a mushroom, so that kind of style is out. I really want something new, something that is versitile and sexy. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
