Hello.First I want to say you have beautiful hairWink I'm jealous,LOL
Here is a link where you can virtually see what you'd look like with different hair styles and colors for MEN:

Here is a hairstyle for guys that I think would look good on you
IF you really do want to go shorter.

It is still kinda longish in the back so it shouldnt be too shocking for you and I think it would flatter your features. It says it is called a wedge cut,but if you like it I'd just print it out and take it with you when/if you get it cut.
It also seems like a good style cuz you wouldnt have to straighten it as much.
But this is just my opinion and I'm a 30 year old woman,so what do I know about teen boy's haircuts,LOL.
Hope you find what you are looking for and post pics when you do.GOOD LUCK!!super

Hi everybody :)
My names David, I'm 16 years old, and I joined this forum because I'm looking for a new hairstyle that would suit ME best, but I want an actual CHANGE rather than just a trim or layers. So basically . . . my hair at the moment sucks.

I have really thick, wavy hair, that has a bit of poof. Normally, I straighten it a bit, do that it's less wavy and flatter, so my poof problem goes byebye, but sometimes, when I do not straighten it, I have to wear a hat to bring it down a bit =/. When I straighten it, it doesn't look too bad, but it's not very flattering anyway. But yes, the vast majority of days, I straighten my hair a bit.

Again, I'm looking for a different hairstyle, rather than just "get a trim, just cut off a few inches, put in some layers, tone it down a little". I'm ready for a change, although I'm FREAKING scared of the results. I'm quite the metro. I must say. I really do want change though.

If you think long hair would suit me best, please tell me, but I'm really looking for a different style. I kind of want a medium length, that I would probably have to straighten, which I have no problem with. I'm quite dedicated when it comes to my hair. I'm a bit of a metrosexual. I'm open to ANY suggestions, but I'm more musical, and not very sporty, so I'd rather not have spiky gelled hair with platinum blonde streaks, a big diamond earring, etc... :P

Thank you ;)

Here are some pictures.

Straightened a bit, sorry for the serious face, I couldn't find an angle to compliment my smile:

Unstraightened, most likely after wearing hat through... This pic doesn't look much like me though:

Finally, here's a pic where I full out look like a woman:

So there you have it... I need help.
Any suggestions? I'll accept ANY recommended hairstyles.
Help me cure my mop :)
