HELP EXTENSIONS HAVE A PURPLE TINT =X

I know huh that's what i though i mean i use to use vivid blond and that stuff in kind of expensive for a little bottle of shampoo and conditioner, plus you can only find that at high end salons. The stuff I used is called (Shimmer Lights) its in a purple bottle sold at sally's but there are 2 different kinds the one i used is just called shimmer lights but the directions are wet hair. Lather,rinse and repeat. For extra brightening and color, leave second lather on 3-5 minutes. No patch test required. Now when i used it i didn't leave in on for no 3-5 min. but i willl assure you that in about 1 year of using vivid blond i did not have that effect on my hair after ONE use of this stuff... I tell ya try it but dont use it if you have extensions in your hair cause it WILL turn them purple. 

Update. I have washed my hair about 5 times now and i can still see a slight tint but no one else can so it does wash out EVENTUALLY but eventually takes a while lol. but my roots that have not been touched with any bleach or color are lighter so check this stuff out...
Oh and for my natural hair only a couple of small pieces in the front had any tint to it but it washed out after the second wash and is still  a lot lighter then before.
