If you get a trim on the top it will make the hair all one length so that the sides are not shorter. Or you can go through the horrible stage of just letting it grow out.

Okay theres so many sections in this forum that, I just to this one because I'm 18 :)
 
So anyway, my hair is bad, but I care about it more than any other part of me really. I've never really had my hair cut into a hairstyle, just get a trim and try and work it from there. I have black hair, and nowdays I'm getting fed up with it, I can't do anything with my hair it's really annoying.
 
In the mornings it takes me like 30-40 minutes to make it look acceptable.
 
 
But never got it, now I want neck lenght hair. So I have a problem, my hair grows fast and big, but because of the way I used to get my haircut, the sides are shorter than the top, do I leave it like this or do I get a trim on top? Thanks.
