I prefer to wear bright colors. The main colors I enjoy wearing are teal, sky blue, royal blue, and any other hue of blue, provided the blue isn't very dark. I like to wear reds and purples as well. Occasionally I'll wear pastels, but this doesn't occur that often.
As for makeup, I don't tend to wear it that often. When I do, I tend to wear light to medium shades of blue and purple for eyeshadow. I don't need to wear mascara because my eyelashes are naturally long.
I think you lean towards warm (your eye color is def. warm and you have red natural tones in your dark hair). But, with fair skin you may swing both ways. What are your favorite colors to wear? That's a big clue.
I can go either way, even though I'm really a cool I also look good in browns and neutrals.
I think you would look good in the right shade of strawberry blonde, just not that one. I do not like that shade...it's too orange and just not an attractive color.
I do think you'd look good in the burgundy.
I like shades that are more natural than purples and burgundies, generally... I suspect your natural color looks gorgeous on you but you want something jazzier...have you considered getting some intense highlights?
I wouldn't chance doing those kinds of colors at home, would you consider at least a consultation with a colorist, if not going to the salon?
good luck!

NOTE:I put some links with image searches as a reference to give a better idea of what hair colors I'd like to dye my hair. Don't know why, but it won't just let you click on the link and then redirect you to the website page. You'll have to copy and paste the website pages with the image results from this post into your web browser, then press enter so it'll redirect you to the image result pages with the links I put.
I'm debating changing my hair color. However I know there is somewhat of a science to this. What hair color will look good on you is determined by whether you fall into the category of a "cool complexion" or a "warm complexion". What determines whether you fall into the cool complexion or warm complexion category are essentially three factors.
These three factors are:
*Hair color *Eye color *what the color of your skin is
My hair color is dark brown with natural red highlights My eye color is hazel with flecks of brown
My skin is fair in color (natural color of it is a combination of white with some peach in it)
However, I can't determine whether I would fall into the category of cool complexion or warm complexion. Can somebody help me regarding this please?!
Here's a link that is roughly the equivalent of my eye color:
As for the color I want to dye my hair, I'm not sure which to pick. I have ideas in mind, but I don't want to botch my natural hair color. I'm debating whether to dye my hair, just cause I would like to try something different with the color of it.
The colors I have in mind for dying my hair are:
strawberry blonde burgundy purple
Here are some links that give an idea of what the colors I want look like:
Regarding purple I can't find a decent image that looks like the hair color I desire for this hue, so I'll just describe it. I don't want a "wacky" or unnatural looking purple hair color. I would like a purple hair color that is a cross between burgundy and plum.
I'm kinda leery of the strawberry blonde or an orangish red cause I think it won't look good. The reason I feel this way is cause of my natural hair color being what it is (which is dark brown) and very dark, whereas auburn or a reddish orange is much lighter in color. Afraid it will botch my natural hair color, which I'm trying to avoid.....
