Red is the fastest colur to fade, but the hardest colour to completely remove from your hair. As you had previously bleached blonde hair thats why the red is fading faster, and now that you have red in your hair and wanting to go back to blonde the only way to achieve this is by colour remover / bleaching. Your problem is now that your colour will pull orange and your back to where you started. I am concerned of the damage your hair will go through if you decide to go back to blonde as at some point you will need to use bleach again.
If you are determined to go back to blonde I would advise you to use a colour remover first.

At Christmas I had my previously highlighted hair bleached all over to try and achieve a platinum shade but it didn't turn out as expected.
I don't like any warmth to my hair when I'm blonde but no matter what my hairdresser uses on me I still get golden tones.
When it was first done it was a fairly ash toned shade but the second I washed it that was gone and replaced by gold.
What I'm looking for is a nice platinum white shade but it wont go that way and I don't understand why.
Because I didn't like the way it turned out I had it re-colored but this time I went red with a semi-permanent color which looked great at first but the fading is driving me up the wall (even when I use wella's red shampoo and treatment which seems to actually strip the color out rather than putting more in).
Now the thing is I'm a blonde at heart and I know soon enough I'll wanna change my color but I don't know if my chosen shade is achiavable as I've tried so many time but unsuccesfully.
What would I need to use to get a platinum white and will I be able to use bleach on it again as under the faded red it is bleached, will I cause damage?
