The point at which she decides to go ahead with this, is the point at which her career is on the slide.

I remember when Flea brought it up. I cringed then like I'm cringing now.

Is she saying that her daughter can only be proud of her if she shaves her head and accepts this role?

Her roles in The Flintsones, as Catwoman and as Mrs. David Justice aside, don't an Academy Award (Monster's Ball), an Emmy and a Golden Globe (both for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge) count for anything?

How many children look at their parents and think, "You sold out?" What a doofus.
Who has more fun than people?

OK, history lesson, about 4 years ago the esteemed JerkyFlea made a comment about Halle signing on to do the movie "Nappily Ever After", so please excuse me if I don't hold my breath.  She has been threatening to do this movie for the last four years.  Look in the following post from just over four years ago:

Berry To Go Bald

Halle Berry is preparing for a drastic haircut -- the actress has agreed to shave her head for a new role.

The star will say goodbye to her locks for her forthcoming part in 2010 romantic comedy "Nappily Ever After."

She tells Essence magazine, "I'm shaving it off! I know. Here comes the controversy, but ... it'll grow back -- I hope!"

And the star admits the decision was inspired by her desire to make her 11-month-old daughter, Nahla, proud of her career.

She adds: "I don't want my daughter to look back at my work and think, 'Mom sold out.' I want to leave a legacy that she can be proud of."
