I FINALLY got my hair to a nice pale yellow stage after making the mistake of dying it a dark dark brown almost a year ago.
I am very interested in the Clairol Creme Toners at Sally's. I just do not understand the system. I understand the levels of color (1 is dark while 10 is the lightest), and I know that A stands for Ash, G is for gold, etc. Clairol Creme Toners just threw me for a loop. They use numbers like 301, 303, 315. Can anyone explain this to me? I've searched online for something that tells which one is the lightest shade, and which one is the darkest... but no luck.
Also, how do you know what the base color is? Is it on the box? (I came across them online, I haven't seen their box yet in the store.)
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I would really like to tone my hair tomorrow morning. It's not cool to walk around looking like a lemon.
