Whoever is doing Heather's hair needs to be fired; it's too layered.  I was loving the flip she had a few months ago.

It seems that TWC had a mobile hair team sweep into their studio over the past month- Heather, Kelly, and Nicole have all gotten moderate cuts. 
 
I second HAWG's sentiments....not sure what would be best on Nicole, but she always looks good...

You know, I like her, and have for awhile but for me, she never gets it quite right, hair-wise that is.  Some mornings I actually say out loud, to the TV, "Damn girl, did you not look in the mirror this morning?"  Lopping off five inches was a step in the right direction but I'm thinking it would look much better if she had taken off eight inches and had it just above the shoulders or added in some layers.  I'm just not sure on this one.

Nicole Mitchell  (Weather Channel weekdays 7 AM-10AM weekdays) has joined the "let's go shorter" movement by trimming about 5" or so; length is just below her shoulders.

Gogomag has several photos after the cut but I can't find a photo of the longer length.  Her pix on the Weather Channel website  are mostly longer than the current version but shorter than it was before the cut. 

She has had subtle variations in style and length, but this was about as long and short as she has worn her hair. 

One thing that's fun to watch about Ms. Mitchell are her style variations.  Most on-air personalities do  very little between haircuts, wearing virtually the same style every day.  She often makes subtle changes--parting it differently, curling  it,  sweeping hair back on one or both sides, tying part or all of it back, or wearing it up.
