I will take your advice and try only 2 thin layers if I can get over the toxicity. Oh, the risks we take for beauty! 2 days ago I apllied my wig using only Mighty Tite (2 layers) and it is holding well in the front but the back lifted after a day. Oh well. I'll keep trying until I get it right.
Thanks Sexibeach! You always have great advice!

your putting on too many layers, 2 at the most, and you need to let it dry to be tacky b4 applying the 2nd layer.. let it cure for about 15 min. between each app of UH.. which by the way is toxic but its the strongest holding adhesive there is as a soft bond..

Hi Ladies. I used Ultra Hold and Mity tite (seperately) and they never seem to dry! The glue stays sticky, more so around my forehead. This is the 3rd time I have applied my wig in the last 2 weeks. I apply 2 -3 thin layers of adhesive, and wait until it is tacky to the touch before applying my wig but it always seems to slide back after a couple of days. I can tell it's sliding when I see the 'baby hairs' laying down and sticking to the glue in the perimeter. Not a good look on me! Do I need to leave more lace around the perimeter? I was instructed to cut it very close to the edge.
I have read that I should tie a scarf around the perimeter for 5 hours after installation. Wouldn't it stick? I have to be careful taking my scarf off in the morning because it stickes every night.
