I have been using the remy hair from www.visionremyhair.com and it's been good quality for a decent price. But
the minimum order is pretty high too, though. They special order them.

Well, let me just say this: you're asking a big big question here!
First of all, everyone has his/her own preference when it comes to hair. There's no perfect hair that will fit anyone, so YOU have to make you own research to know what will work for YOU the best.
The 'label' on a hair brand can be quite deceiving too, 'european' hair is not always european, rarely so in fact. It is often indian or chinese but the diameter of the hair has been reduced or the texture processed.
The main thing you want to worry about is whether the hair is remi/remy or not.
Be sure to find out as much info as you can on a website/company you want to order from. Search old topics on this forum or the others.
In the end you will have to narrow down your search to a few reputable vendors and take the plundge.
Figure out if you want asian, indian, russian hair. Prices vary a lot from one type to another.
Find the right texture -silky, wavy, french refined etc.- the right length and color...
Or just try a brand or vendor that people seem to like.
You need to spend a lot of time doing this research yourself because you know your own needs.
I hope this helps!
