my experience with Keratip

Hello everyone. First I want to put out there that I am not a hair stylist, nor do I sell extensions - nothing like that. I am posting my personal experience with my new hair extensions simply if anyone else would like an opinion on SuperKeratip hair. I had trouble finding customer reviews on hair when I was looking and just wanted to contribute.
I started getting extensions in October of 2008. They were the sew in method. I really liked them at first. But after a month or so it started tangling. And over time the tangling got worse to where I really needed to brush like every half hour so I didn't have tangled, crazy looking hair across my back. I thought maybe I didn't take good care of them. Well I got my second set in January 2009. I took better care of these but eventually they started tangling just like before. (I don't know the brand, I just know the hair was priced at $100) So with the tangling, and the monthly maintenance to reset them, I got tired of them.

So I started researching the strand by strand method because I wanted to be able to put hair closer to the front of my head. I scowered the internet looking for the BEST hair - including this site (which was basically the only one that I could find real opinions). I saw good things about Boyhme, 909.. maybe 1 more. I researched the 909 and I liked it fine but I wanted 22" instead of 18. I was on thehairshopinc.com I believe and they had 22" straight individual Utip strands. I contemplated and researched for several weeks and decided to get this hair. I bought 5 boxes of color #4 (dark brown) and 2 boxes of color #16 (blond). 3.5 hrs later on a Friday night and I had a mane!

So it's been 3 weeks I believe and I've washed 3-4 times, I flat iron after each wash. The hair is just as beautiful as the day I bought it and I feel like I can tell a big difference in quality by the way it feels and "acts." I don't see any signs of tangling. The shedding is pretty minimal. Slightly itchy but I imagine that's hard to get away from. They seemed to apply pretty clean.

So that was my experience so far with SuperKeratip hair. I have only good things to say.
