Hi everyone!!!

This picture is from Paul Mitchell when they introduced the extra body finishing hair spray.

They used Extra Body Shampoo and Conditioner on the model and Extra Body Mousse mixed with Gloss Drops. Of course they used the new Extra Body hair spray which I really do not care for, (you will get your hand stuck in your hair) They then finished with PM The Shine.

I love all the other products though.

Just thought you might want to know....oh and ditto with Lyris on the pro following you around

I'm most certain (99.9%) I've got the receipt at home, I'll check for sure over the weekend and get back w/ya Monday. The conditioner was more than the shampoo...but yeah I'm sure it was 9 and some change.

Have a good weekend...I'm outta here

I cannot remember the shine I used before it all ran out? I know that It was not cheap and that it was made in Italy. It worked sooooooooo great. And It made me feel like I had Water for hair. It was sooooo smooth. If I remember it I will [post]

Hey Lyris...I stop in Sally sometimes...most often to get these big puffs with the cloth strip on the back..nice thick fluffy ones...perfect for applying loose powder. I usually buy up most of what they have, which is never a lot...seems they are popular...Usually throw mine in the wash and dry them...can use them over and over..they're wonderful!! My mother-n-law uses the shampoo for gray...ummm oh yeah Shimmer Lights (sp) I usually pick that up for her. A friend of mine who once upon a time was a stylist..now a stay at home mom...keeps her license paid up..so go w/her to the professional supply shops... I got liters of All Soft the other day for like around 13.00 for the conditioner and 9 something for the shampoo...I saw that and snatched them up..pure joy *winks*!!! That's when I also spied the Kenra Straightening Serum.

Ok this was to be a quick reply..I've rambled on and on... Thx for the info girlfriend. Have a good one. I must make myself actually work now (HA)

Hi M...you make it sound like it's a secret! :-) I use Volumizer Extra Shine Spray-On Shine and Professional Rx Replenishing Mica Spray Polish, )whichever is on sale.) The truth is, almost all shine sprays are identical in composition (provided there aren't any oils, which weigh my hair down.) Almost all use a combination of phenyl trimethicone and cyclomethicone or some other cone derivative. The only real difference is price. Some come in liquid form ( I've used Beyond The Zone Oil-Free Glosser--it's the cheapest there is) and that works best for really coarse/thick hair, as it kind of gooped up my hair. Are you a Sally fan? What have you tried from there?

Well, the first order of business would be to find a stylist who can tag along at your side 24/7 and spray a wad of products on your hair before you trot out before the cameras and adoring public :-) Facetiousness aside, it is difficult to get picture-perfect hair in real life because we don't have the manpower required to become camera-ready. Plus by the time the model's hair is set, it's got so much gunk in it you wouldn't want to touch it. (It's the same way with fake, shiny fruit in the commercials--believe me, I work in this industry!) But a good start would be a silicone shine serum/spray. A lot of people are cone-adverse but the reality is these products don't weigh your hair down the way heavy oils can if your hair is on the fine-medium side. Used sparingly on dry hair, a polisher can really make your hair dazzle. I use a spray from Sally Beauty every time I style and have had great results. Good luck--I hope others will offer you suggestions too!
