Curly is pleased indeed! I've thought Mariska's hair has been pretty boring (bland color and cut) since she grew it out, this is a nice change. Darker too yes?

While long hair lovers will be dismayed, it still looks very good (even better in my mind) and is still long compared to her pixie cut a while back.

New pictures on Wireimage show that Mariska has gone shorter.  It's not anything approaching her really short cuts, but this cut is a little past chin length bob.  Although at the Emmy Awards she was pretty clearly wearing extensions, this is still a sizable cut of at least 2-3 inches, possibly more?

I doubt she's an extensions kind of gal--though as a Hollywood celeb. she might wear them sometimes.
