glue a few Milo meters from your scalp :)
I love this method. I buy my weft and cut it up into sections to fit my head and glue it in with liquid gold bond-a-weave, it lasts a few weeks but if you have the patience to maintain it it looks gorgeous. i buy my products from www.buyhair.co.uk. hope this helps :) Michaela x

don't glue to the scalp glue to the hair ,truly when gluing to the scalp it will get on the scalp, when applying there needs to be light pressure to avoid the glue bleeding to the scalp, me personally a stylist who specializes in hair weave i don't recommend latex glue for weft applications.

Wouldn't it clog the pores on your head? I just saw another post about this. When I install my hair extensions I always do it only on  my hair, some glue falls on my scalp from time to time. Then I notice hair growing thinner on that area. But I learned before to avoid the scalp as much as possible.

As far as I know, it is. My concern would be that if you glued it to the scalp, what whould happen as your hair grew out, if the the extensions where glued to both the hair and scalp?

I can't find wich video is was now.  There are so many!

I guess, mostly, I just wanted to know which is the standard way of gluing on weft extentions.  It sounds as though you're saying that gluing to the hair, not the scalp, is the usual method?

Hello,

 

I am not sure what type of extensions the video on YouTube was, but in the 5 years of wearing extensions, I have never had any glues applied to the scalp. I have worn the micro links, tubes, keratip, weft and skin weft.  I think there are some methods where you apply a track to the scalp with glue, but I have never done that or know anything about it...

Mabe a link to the youtube video whould help?

I've read conflicting info about how to attach glue-in extensions.  I thought you were supposed to glue them to your hair, and avoid the scalp.  But one of the videos on YouTube says "Half on hair, and half on scalp."
 
What do all of you do?  Which is safer for your hair and your scalp?
