I can answer your question about highlighting. I highlight my hair before I get the extensions so that it blends, otherwise, you might/will have a 'cap' effect on the top where you have all dark hair and IMHO will not look right.
As for wraping the extesions, I always put mine in a loose braid or ponytail. Not to tight as you dont want to stress the hair. I am not sure what type the Manemaxx are, but it looks like it is an individual application, so I would say at the least to do that.

Hello everyone :) I have a few questions, I am a newbie. I am pretty sure I am going to buy a kit from Manemaxx just because their "glue" is supposed to be less damaging than a typical glue. My first question is are we supposed to wrap or do anything special to hair with extensions before going to sleep? Second is I really love the look of brown hair with blonde hilights. Should I hilight my own hair first? I have all brown hair. Will it blend ok if I don't hilight my hair or will it look funny? Last questions is where can I find the pattern of how the Manemaxx extensions should be put in? Thanks so much for any help! If I manage to do this I will post pics!
