When checking Getty for recent pix, I nearly had heart failure.  One of the first photos that opened up was of a brunette with long hair.  Carrie Underwood a brunette?  I quickly realized it was actually Julia Louis-Dreyfus, also a guest on David Letterman's "Late Show,"  looking very nice in her own right and wearing a most improbable set of spike heels.  How on earth does she ever walk in them?  But I digress.

Ms. Underwood has been making the rounds of the talk and news shows in advance of hosting the CMA Awards Nov. 11.  Her hair is just as long (or a little longer) and blonde--she looks terrific.  Actually, the whole package is pretty eye-catching.   Can't wait for Wednesday night!
