Do the blades have an adjustment, also how thick is your hair? If you have thick hair take your time running the clippers thru. Thicker the hair I push the blade all the way up to close the gap. Damp hair does cut easier but damp or dry they should cut with ease. The only reason I like to mist the hair is for the ease watching how it lays during the cut. I always do the finish cut (fine tuning)on dry hair. Just make sure to buy something in the mid range $$$  "you get what you  pay for".

Just some generic ones.

I am open to getting a certain brand though this is just for a once or twice a year cut, so I kinda wanna go easy on the cash and having something that will last.

I also heard that your hair is suppose to be bone dry doing this, is this this the case?  I think my hair was dry but tips like this are helpful.

Cheers,

Your friend,

Chris

Recently I tried to get a buzz cut (short length #0-2) and it felt like it was ripping my hair out not just cutting it.

It looks so smooth and painless when I watch videos or have seen it in real life.  Was it a way I was holding it?  Maybe a setting I had?

Any tips and or tricks to allow me to get that buzz without that OUCH! would be very very appreciated.

Your bud,

Christopherx
