QuoteReplyTopic: Best Hair At 2010 Oscars? Posted: March 09 2010 at 1:25pm
Well you know how it is. There are literally swarms of "fashion police" these days and someone has to be different and dish a celeb who looks fab so that is probably why Kathy Ireland got snipped by some no name fashion commenter.
Oh well. Kathy looked amazing. So did Demi. Both looked very classy. I'm with you, I don't like the back-slapping and silliness but I do like to see the new hair, fashion and make-up trends.
Looks like tendrils are back if the Globes and Oscars are any indication.

Well, I can't abide all the back-slapping and silliness at such events, so I didn't watch. But thanks for pointing out Kathy Ireland, a huge favorite of mine, and Demi Moore. I googled them, and each of them wore unimaginably beautiful styles! WOW!!! To think that Kathy was "panned" by someone! Bob
My favorite, though was Kathy Ireland. She lost weight, had a sexy hairstyle and looked great.
I thought Cameron Diaz had a great hair night, although she was panned by one of the critics.
To me, the night left me wanting more. Too many updos, but I've probably complained about that in years past. I wanted to see Amanda Seyfried's hair down, not in a greasy looking updo. I liked the way a loose strand of hair hung from Mariska Hargitay's head, but she looked kind of messy. Anna Kendrick looked amazing in one scene in "Up in the Air," but I haven't seen her look that great since, including during the Academy Awards. Kristen Stewart needs to keep letting her hair grow out from her role as Joan Jett.
Hey Kramer, Yes, Kathy Ireland did look great. And I actually emailed Cameron's press person today and told them I thought her hair looked better than it has in awhile.
I agree with all your opinions. I think Amanda Seyfried definitely looks better in MHO with her hair down in loose waves but not up in a tight bun.
Did you like Demi's side romantic twist? It worked with the hair but I think she looks better with her hair down for the most part.
Thanks for sharing. Appreciate it much.

I actually thought there wasn't anything all that different last night and a lot of the stars wore their hair pretty much like they always do. Mo'nique had the big hair bun on top of her hair, which she has been wearing a lot. Carey Mulligan went with a finished tousled short cut. Yeah, OK.
Meryl's hair always looks like a bird's nest. Part of her charm but then she's Meryl.
Mariah Carey's hair was down and in soft waves. It looked good. Better than when she pulls it back tightly. I might say Mariah had best hair IMO and Mo'nique worst because I don't think that big bun looks as good as when she wears her hair down. Just MHO though.
It's hard to believe Sandra Bullock has naturally curly hair but I have to say her hair looked really shiny and silky and perfect last night.
I would vote for her as having best hair with her #1 competitor for the gold, Meryl Streep as having the worst. But we expect that of Meryl so no news there.
